COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION
One team, one contract, one schedule
We are a commercial general contractor working across hospitality, retail, wellness, and office space in Toronto and the GTA. Design, permits, landlord and mall approvals, construction, and finishing are handled by one team, on one contract.
Commercial work carries a deadline that residential work does not. Rent starts whether the doors open or not, so every schedule we issue is one we can hold.
What we build
Four kinds of commercial space
Restaurant construction
Front of house and back of house, built to code
Commercial kitchen build-outs, exhaust and make-up air, grease interceptors, accessible washrooms, and dining rooms finished to the standard a guest judges you on. We work with your designer or design it ourselves, and we can phase work around service hours if you are already open.
Retail fit-out
Storefronts, millwork and fixtures, lighting, flooring, and signage. We build to a brand’s national standards and handle the landlord and mall approval process — drawings, submissions, and the trades every mall requires after hours.
Reception areas, meeting rooms, private offices, and open floors — with the mechanical, electrical, and data work coordinated so the space is ready to occupy rather than ready to fix. Built around how your team actually works, not a standard floor plate.
Wellness & mixed-use
Studios, clinics, salons, and cafés — often several within one building, each with its own servicing, acoustics, and access requirements. Where the building itself needs work, we handle the envelope and façade as well as the interiors.
WHY COMMERCIAL CLIENTS CHOOSE US
A date to hit, a permit to clear, a finish to be proud of
The deadline
Rent starts whether the doors open or not
Every commercial project runs against a lease. We schedule backwards from your opening date, book long-lead items before they can hold up the programme, and sequence trades so nothing sits waiting. Where the space stays open, work is phased around your hours with hoarding and dust control.
Approvals
Permits, landlords, and mall approvals are ours to handle
Building permits, landlord design review, mall submissions, and inspections are managed by our team. On the two Mumuso locations that process ran end to end alongside construction — architectural planning, interior design, and permit applications in one line rather than three.
The finish
Residential-grade craft, applied to commercial work
Most of our work is custom homes, and the standard carries across. Hand-painted wall finishes, considered lighting, and materials chosen to hold up under daily traffic without looking worn — the detail a guest notices without being able to name it.
projects
Commercial spaces we've delivered. Restaurants, retail, and a building reborn — across the GTA
Every project below carries its real scope, timeline, and investment — a Michelin dining room finished in a month, two mall fit-outs delivered to brand standard, and a vacant 9,000 sq ft building rebuilt as a clubhouse.
