The challenge
A tight lot, close neighbours, and twelve months of careful sequencing.
Little Italy is one of Toronto’s oldest and most tightly built neighbourhoods — narrow lots, close neighbours, and streets where construction access is measured in inches. Twelve months of careful sequencing kept the build moving without disrupting the block, while the design worked within those constraints rather than against them.
The Finish

Our philosophy is simple: perfection lies in the details. From structural precision to bespoke finishes, each stage of construction reflects an uncompromising dedication to craftsmanship and artistry.
That standard is set long before anything is visible. Framing, services, and substrates are prepared as though they will be inspected — the finishes that follow only look effortless because the work beneath them was not.
Materials were chosen for how they age, not only how they look on day one. Millwork lines through, reveals hold true, and transitions between materials are resolved rather than covered.
The result
A downtown home that gained square footage without losing its street.
The addition extended the home’s usable space, and the raised ceilings changed how it feels to move through it — daylight travels further, rooms open into one another, and the proportions read as deliberate rather than inherited. Inside, the house behaves like a much newer build; from the sidewalk, it still belongs to Euclid Ave.
Working in a neighbourhood this established asks for patience as much as craft. Twelve months later, the family has the home they planned, and the street looks after itself.
